Hello All - Please see the following notice about a meeting on the Green Line maintenance facility. More information can be found at: http://www.greenlineextension.org/ Two of the sites considered are in or near Wards 2 and 1.

The City of Somerville and Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) encourage all interested parties to attend a public meeting to discuss the proposed Maintenance Facility related to the Green Line Extension, and possible location alternatives.  The meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 16th at 6:00 p.m., at the Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center, located 41 2nd Street in Cambridge.  MassDOT will present and seek public input for the siting, design, and construction of a vehicle storage  and maintenance facility to support the proposed Green Line Extension.
