Message-ID: <05E737CD9BF1C7479D7F1A4A881272EB04139643@exchange.somerville.ma.us> Hi all - Please find below some citywide announcements and event reminders. Announcements: RESISTAT NAMING CONTEST: Based on the many comments we received in the recent resident engagement survey, we are soliciting ideas for a new name for the ResiStat program. ResiStat aims to engage residents in data-driven discussions on quality of life issues in their neighborhood as well as on citywide plans and developments. The new name should convey the program's core features of neighborhood-specific, data-oriented discussions, resident engagement, community meetings and government accountability. Name ideas will be collected and then voted upon at upcoming ward-based meetings and online. Prizes will be given out, not just for the winning name but perhaps for the funniest and most improbable names as well. Submit your name ideas here: http://ResiStatName.speedsurvey.com . PARKING SURVEY: The City is working with graduate students to study parking in order to improve our zoning regulations. The students have put together the following survey to gather information from residents, business owners, employees and visitors about their parking experiences in Somerville: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/C5TD522 . Your input would be greatly appreciated. BECOME A MYSTERY CUSTOMER: The Mystery Customer program is Mayor Curtatone's customer service initiative that enables residents to rate their recent transactions or interactions with city offices and employees and suggest ways to improve the delivery of services. If you are interested in becoming a Mystery Customer, please sign up at: http://MysterySignUp.speedsurvey.com. Upon signing up you will receive an email with links to the online surveys that you can use to provide feedback, which is then shared anonymously with department heads and discussed at their SomerStat meetings.
