CYBER-BULLYING WORKSHOP, WED. 3/10, 6:30-8:00PM, WEST SOMERVILLE NEIGHBORHOOD SCHOOL(177 POWDERHOUSE BLVD): Somerville Public Schools is talking about cyber-bullying following the recent news of the tragic incident in Western Mass. The schools are hosting a free workshop for families and community partners focused on identifying, stopping and preventing cyber-bullying at home and in the community. This is an event for all families in Somerville. For more information see the Somerville Public Schools online calender, here: http://tinyurl.com/yad6umj CAR SEAT SAFETY INSPECTIONS, SAT. 3/6 and SAT 4/10, 11AM-4PM, PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING ON SOMERVILLE AVE: Somerville Police Department will begin conducting monthly child safety car seat installation and inspections beginning next month. Due to the high demand of requests the department can offer child safety seat checks for Somerville residents only. Please bring your vehicle registration or proof of residency with you. DICKERMAN & MORSE-KELLEY DESIGN PLAN COMMUNITY MEETING, MON. 3/15, 6:30PM, KENNEDY SCHOOL, 5 CHERRY STREET: CBA Landscape Architects will be presenting a single preferred design plan for each park at this community meeting. Once the meeting is held, the designs will be posted on the City website and a public review period will be opened. There will be opportunities to have input into the final design if you are unable to attend this meeting.
