Hello All - two quick notes for Parents and Ward 3 residents:

Central Hill Playground: Because of a last-minute opportunity to make some improvements to the park, the Central Hill Park will be closed immediately. While the City has had to postpone major reconstruction of the park, we were able to find a way to install improved play structures. At least some of the sand will also be replaced with wood chips, which are recognized as a safer substance for parks. Please call 311 with any questions on the process.

Sunsetters Performance: There will be two Sunsetter performances in the Union Square neighborhood this week. The first is in Lincoln Park on Tuesday, 7/14, at 7:00 p.m. (Residents plan to have a parade of children and pets at 6:30 p.m. before the performance). Then, on Thursday, 7/16, there will be a Sunsetter performance outside of 24 Cambria Street at 7:00 p.m. To find other Sunsetter performances near you, see: http://www.somervillema.gov/spotlight.cfm?id=59.
